We haven't been up to much except the same ol' ear infections, useless antibiotics and me bringing up the rear with my Moms in Motion. We are counting down the days for Devin's ear tube surgery and my upcoming 5K. Both are approaching fast!
Bianca came to spend the night last night and entertained our Wild Ones. And today, she got a special treat and came along with Dominic, Donovan and I to decorate a cupcake at Lulu's Cupcakes in Old Town Elk Grove. It originally was supposed to be a Mom's Group Meetup, but turned out to be just us, as we had just missed the rest of the group. Luckily, the icing, cupcakes and toppings were still available for us. And luckily, the floors were not swept yet, as we were sure to make a mess with sprinkles and icing splats. When we finished our creative art on our cupcakes, we purchased a couple to bring back for Peyton and Sydney. We hope they enjoyed them!
Also, this weekend.... Look who's walking!!!!....
I put together a gift Devin got for Christmas (Thanks Padrinos!). It's probably the last of the Christmas gifts that needed opening. As you can tell, we are never short of any toys around here, but as Donovan scoots around on his airplane, I felt Devin needed some wheels too. He loves it. We only have it in the upright position for him to walk with for now. Once it's down in the "ride-on" position, I'm sure Donovan will hop on board and take off with it. He's a thief!
For Devin to be so close to walking at this age is a milestone. Both Dominic and Donovan had no interest in attempting to walk until the age of 15 months. Here, Devin is just shy of a full year and looks to be determined to set that record. I, of course, am bittersweet to the idea that my baby is clearly going to be more mobile and independent very soon!

Yay!! I cannot believe what a big boy he is all the sudden! I'll be praying the tube surgery goes well. Those things are MIRACLE workers...trust me, if he's anything like Nater & Mimi he'll be a much happier baby ESPECIALLY when he gets a cold. Huuugggs...I know it's scary to put him under though!
Oh-my-gosh... is Baby Devin REALLY almost a year?!?! That can't be! Well, wait, my Gabriel is turning 7 months this week, so I guess it is possible. *sniff, sniff* We are curious to see when he will start walking, seeing as Caleb didn't walk until 18 months! Keep us up to date with his surgery.
Those cupcakes looks SUPER yummy. What a fun outing! I hope everything goes well with the tubes...we have been lucky and Eli has only had one ear infections! But those two weeks were not fun, so I can imagine having constant ear infections is horrible!!
