Thankful that Thursday is over!

What a crazy day - and it only started to get crazy around 3:00 pm. I was about to leave work to attend a scheduled Parent/Teacher Conference with Rudy for Dominic. But just 1/2 hour before doing so, I got wrapped up in something that I couldn't get out of - because, well, I wouldn't expect someone to read my dictation that I took over the phone. After getting to a point where I could pick up at in the morning, I dashed out of there to meet Rudy and head to the school. EXTRA! EXTRA!: Dominic is an excessive talker! (<--------- he gets that from his Dad!) Things are looking swell in 1st grade.... so far.

A couple hours later, it was Picture Day for the SJV Sabercats! Dominic managed to get sweaty without even running around! It was a hot day - which made for stuck hair to the head for pictures. Hopefully they came out okay. I took some of my own, just in case Dominic snuck in some strange eyes or something.

What precious pictures! It's funny, talking seems to be the thing for kids in the lower grades. Andrew had got put on time out for talking a lot, but we had a talk with him after I talked to the teacher, and no reports since then. Fingers crossed. He has one buddy that he seems to be really clinging to, AJ, they are finally going to get to play this weekend ( hopefully) I am really excited for him to get more social and meet other kids. They both had been bugging his mom and I to play for the past few weeks, Lets hope this does not promote more talking..

The days of soccer pictures and school conferences - can't wait! Thanks for the comment on our blog - yes, Riverfront Park has the big red wagon slide. I neglected to take a picture of the whole thing. It was a really great place for kids and we will go back someday. Love your blog and blog roll of quads. Carrie :)

You are the Sabercats and we are the wildcats!! We have conference tomorrow night -- I wonder if we have a chatter box too? Matthew has grown so much this year that I am really excited to sit and talk with his teacher! I hope you are all doing something super fun this weekend!
